Overview
We have an exciting Project Management opportunity for a talented individual with experience of delivering NHSmail projects – ideally NHSmail 2 – for a managed service provider (MSP) who are delivering projects to the NHS. This is initially for 6 months with the possibility of extension. This assignment is outside IR35.
Key duties
- To Project Manage all NHSMail2 deliverables assigned to individuals outlined within the
project plan
- Project Manage internal communications, training documentation and policy
changes
- Project Manage policy and process changes as a result of the transformation to NHSMail2
- Project Manage the technical steps required and process changes to facilitate technical migration to NHSMail2
- Update Project plan and project documentation as required, providing highlight reports as agreed between customer and MSP
- Present and/or disseminate any provided migration progress reporting from Accenture
- To create and provide standard operational procedures for 2nd & 3rd line engineering
- Manage 3rd line work force to investigate, change and remediate critical applications with dependencies for NHSMail2
- Manage 2nd line workforce who are supporting users during the migration to NHSMail2
- Provide an incident logging mechanism, to circumnavigate existing 1st Line service desk (minimising any disruption to BAU)
- Assist with for Skype for Business integration with NHSMail2
- Co-ordinate support and upgrade assistance with Mobile Device upgrades
- Support 3rd party suppliers with the migration from Exchange mailbox migration to NHSMail2
- Create a work off plan for the remediation of legacy exchange SMTP settings and decommissioning of existing Exchange services for BAU following migration to NHSMail2
- To create and provide a closure report and lessons learned report
Requirements
- Demonstrable project management experience
- NHS experience
- NHSmail projects, ideally NHSmail 2
- Prince 2
