FAQs for Clients

Frequently asked questions

What type of candidates can you provide?

IT professionals from graduate/junior level to executive/senior management level, across a wide range of industry backgrounds including public and private sector. We offer both permanent and contract recruitment.

What makes STK different to other recruitment agencies?

We provide a boutique style approach. Our process is bespoke – offering what you need to meet the unique requirements of your business and the role you are filling.

We are often able to turn contract roles around very quickly – 2 hours is our record, but we prefer a little longer if possible.

We believe in total transparency. We’ll be honest and upfront with you throughout the process. We are clear with our fee structures too, so there’s no nasty surprises.

Do you only work on a sole agency contract?

No, but that’s definitely the way we prefer to work. We have proved our mettle and earned sole agency rights with several clients. They are impressed with the quality of our work and appreciate our commitment.

Of course, we can work alongside an agency or two, if that’s necessary. We also offer an agency management process, where we will be the sole point of contact and liaise on your behalf with other agencies. Clients tell us this is invaluable and saves them precious time.

What geographic area do you cover?

We deliver recruitment services throughout the UK and Europe.

Do you comply with any regulations or trade associations?

We are ethical and professional recruiters and have been members of the Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC) since 2011. We are compliant with all current employment legislation and the ethical aspect of recruitment as defined by the Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct. We have passed their compliance test with flying colours – 100%.

How can I register a vacancy?

If you’ve never worked with us before, we’d love to meet up and have a chat. At the very least, let’s put a phone call in the diary.

You can use our register a vacancy option online, or, if you prefer, you can email or phone us. This is the first step in the process, as we will want to take a full brief from you over the phone or in person, before we start working on the vacancy or project.
